Crossing Over: The Vlog Blog

Is it possible to pull off a crossover in the blogging world? You know...the way the Jetsons dropped in on the Flintstones...the lawyers of SVU hand off to Criminal Intent...or Mulder and Scully cross paths with Homer and Bart? Well, we're going to give it a try.

For this particular post, Owen is moonlighting on the Vlog Blog (check out: http://vonheimburg.blogspot.com/). Meanwhile, Baby C and the GSB is hosting the stars of the Vlog Blog, Anand & Vivek. We hope you enjoy the twist on normal programming.

Over the weekend, Brecken, Owen, and I ventured north of the border to visit all of our transplanted friends in Wisconsin. Unlike past trips in which we make a point of enjoying Culvers, cheese curds, and a Spotted Cow or two, this trip involved more meaningful activities. For the first time, we got to meet the "dynamic duo." You might ask yourself...how do you get a dynamic duo. In this case, the recipe is simple:

A goofy curly haired guy plus the take charge motherly gal yields oodles of fun and personality.

Peanut Butter & Jelly. Ham & Cheese. Strawberries & Cream. Some things are just better together than they are apart. The same can be said for Vivek & Anand. Their parents may question that from time to time during the wee hours of the night, but on the whole, they are two perfect little gentlemen...with a twist for excitement.

Individually, Vivek is the calm, stoic, thinking man's 5 month old

while Anand is the carefree, flamboyant, entertainer.

Together, they are a band of brothers that are certain to keep their parents on their toes and their friends in good company. Owen is so excited to have a few older brothers to lean on for advice and a good old fashioned playdate.
