4th of July Fun
We spent the 4th of July doing a lot of fun things, waking at 5:15 AM in the tent in the backyard, making waffles with the kids, and then heading to Oak Park for some fun at the farmer's market. The evening was capped off by a display of fireworks and music in Waiola Park.
We only have photos from our time in Oak Park with our friends, Kip, Andrea, and Nomar.
Owen and Paxton had a lot of fun climbing the trees around the perimeter of the market.
Yes, even Miss P was climbing the trees. She is a climber.
Did I mention that Nomar is O & P's favorite 4 legged friend. Having watched the pet parade together only a few weeks ago, Owen was excited to see Nomar once again. After having a few freshly made doughnuts, Nomar was excited to "clean" off Owen's sugary hands.

Paxton just followed Nomar around and couldn't stop saying "Woof woof"..."Woof woof."

Of course, Nomar wasn't the only friend entertaining the kids. Andrea was a fantastic host and pal for both kids throughout the morning. So much fun.
To close out our visit, Owen found a streetside bench to sit with Kip and strum and serenade the patiently watching Nomar.
