Relaxation....St Thomas
With the kids safely under the watchful eyes of Julie and a tag team of grandmothers, Brecken and I managed to get away for a relaxing week in St Thomas. Yes, that's right, a full week without client considerations, sippy cups, diapers, bibs, and early little-people alarm clocks. It's amazing what a little time on the beach, sleeping in, reading books, and tasty adult dinners will do for the mind and soul.
Staying just steps from the water at the Morning Star, we had a nice view from our balcony and the convenience of beachside restaurants and bars.
The real stars of the trip and our visit to St Thomas were those that often stood in the way of where we wanted to go...

We were never lucky enough to have them crawl up under our lunch table, but we did see it happen on one or two occasions to other guests. Needless to say, Brecken was not the biggest fan, and she never really bought into the "but they are vegetarian" concept.
In addition to lounging around the beach and pool, we did manage to explore several of the different areas of St Thomas and St John, shopping, dining, parasailing, etc.
We had a great time, but it was also nice to get home and to be tackled to the floor by O & P as we came through the door. Back to reality...
