Backyard Adventures

With an extra night in this long holiday weekend, Owen and I took advantage of a relatively cool evening to setup camp in the backyard. Owen helped me setup the tent, and following the weekly swim lesson and a fun sushi dinner, we grabbed our flashlights and sleeping bags and bid farewell to Brecken and Paxton for the evening. Someone was pretty excited.

The energy and excitement carried over into an evening of limited sleep. There were a lot of games with the flashlights to keep us up, and then the sun conveniently came up around 5:00 AM to wake us up. Good times....there's a reason for afternoon naps.
