Dad's Day at School

Saturday was a special event for Owen and his classmates. It was Dad's Day, and the school was converted into a sports paradise (at least as far as paradise would be viewed by 3 and 4 year olds). There were rooms designated for basketball, football, baseball, and hockey, and Owen's room was actually the sports bar, complete with pretzels and lemonade. Owen got to show me around his classroom and to explore the rest of the school. Good times for all.

On the topic of sports, March Madness is here again. For the second year in a row, Cornell claimed the first ticket to the big dance. The Big Red closed out the Ivy campaign with a home sweep of Penn and Princeton. Do we smell an upset coming? Meanwhile, the Spartans capped off their Big 10 Championship run with a victory over the Boilermakers. One week for the big 10 tournament before all the fun begins. It's a good time of year.
