Oh what fun...look who's 1!

It is hard to believe, but one year has passed since the Little Lady made her debut. There have been many adventures, many laughs, and quite a few sleepless moments, but there is no replacing the energy she has added to our family and our home. Raise a cupcake or two for little Miss P.

As Paxton entertained the grandparents, the cupcakes sat idly by awaiting their fate.

Generally, one considers a birthday to be a joyous occasion, particularly for the little kids. I'm not sure that is how you would describe Paxton at this moment. Unclear whether it was all of the people singing or the presence of the burning candle that her caught off guard, but the mood didn't last long.

"Can you please stop singing and let me eat this yummy thing."

Now that's more like it. One cupcake and a piece of cake later, and Paxton had done her part as a one year old with frosting.

Happy 1st Birthday Paxton. You've come a long way in the past twelve months. Now you're walking and trying to talk....oh what we're in for in the next twelve months.
