This is how we roll

Yes, we're still here. Maybe there is a little less time to grab the camera, or maybe there is just a little laziness at the parent level. Either way, we're enjoying the early days of winter and preparing for the upcoming holidays.

Owen and Paxton continue to find new ways to entertain themselves. Here is a quick shot of the two of them preparing for a little boxcar ride around the living room. Paxton wasn't quite sure what to think of the experience, but if Owen had his way, we'd still be sliding around the floor.

On Saturday evening, Santa came to town (via firetruck). It was a pretty chilly night, and Owen and Paxton bundled up before going to see Santa. Owen was amused by Paxton laying on the floor and decided to mimic her pose. Of course, in A Christmas Story moment, Paxton couldn't really do much about her pose. She was too bundled up to move. After seeing Santa, Owen helped Brecken and I decorate the tree. It was the first year in which he was allowed to put up ornaments on his own. He did manage to break an ornament or two, but in the interest of full disclosure, so did I.
