A Fenway Treat

There are few match-ups and few venues that compare to a Yankees-Red Sox showdown at Fenway Park in Boston. I had the opportunity to spend a whirlwind 36 hours in Beantown last weekend, taking in some of the sites, some of the chowdah, a few hours at the Kennedy museum (on what proved to be the eve of Senator Kennedy's passing), and one very fun evening in the old ballpark.

Great seats, great friends, and a special experience to remember for a long time.

Unfortunately, the game itself left a little to be desired. In what proved to be the highest scoring contest in the history of the Yanks-Sox series, the Yankees throttled the Sox 20-11.

Despite the modern amenities of the new ballparks, there is something irreplaceable about Fenway and Wrigley. May they last forever. Cheers!
