Starting the holiday season
Happy Thanksgiving to one and all.
Despite me spending the majority of my weekend buried in a final project for class, Owen managed to get out and about to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather. He even managed to go out for a stroll on the sidewalk every day this weekend. In fact, Brecken and I underestimated the speed that he now has at his walking disposal. The following picture does a nice job of capturing Owen's leisurely stroll and Brecken's mad-dash skills.

(Disclaimer: Despite those of you that think we like to put Owen in harms way by showing video footage of him on the slide or pushing his little fire engine out into the street, there have been no injuries, and on this particular day, as you can tell, no one was on the street. In fact, this absence of people is indicative of the city and college campuses and other places where no one is actually originally from -> on holidays these places are ghost towns, and our neighborhood was no exception.)
On Friday and Saturday, Owen enjoyed the company of his Grandma L. The two of them went to the park, went shopping, played with his toys, and simply entertained one another to no end. Here are a few pictures of Owen and Grandma.

Let the holiday season begin! Cheers!
