Owen the "not so ferocious" Halloween lion

I know...I know...there are still two more days before Halloween, but on the north side of Chicago, the costumed kids were out in full force this sunny Sunday afternoon, including your favorite little king of the jungle.

Brecken, Owen, and I met up with several of Owen's little friends to enjoy lunch and to escort them on their first trick-or-treating expedition.

Here is a quick shot of Owen the Lion with his pals Lucy the Ladybug and Joey the Lamb.Today's take did not include any full sized candybars, but there are still a few more days to go, and thus a few more opportunities to take Mr. Ferocious out on the town. For those of you waiting near your front door on Tuesday night, you better watch out...

...Owen wants your candy.
