Reunion on the Lake

This past weekend was a Miami reunion for Brecken. For the first time in three years, the group got together to reminisce, share new stories, and introduce the newest members of the family. Once again, we gathered along the shores of Lake Michigan.

Here is a quick picture of Brecken, Owen, Dr. Nault, Alison, and Sweet-sweet Alannah K on the porch at the Lakeside Inn.
To escape the 100+ degree temperatures, we made a point of getting down to the beach and into the water. Owen loved floating around in his little boat. The combination of swimming and heat really wore the little guy out on Saturday. Here he is resting in the shade of his new tent.
After waking up, he had fun pulling Brecken's hair.
Inside the Inn, Owen loved the wide open hardwood floors. It was the perfect place to crawl and to entertain himself with a rolling water bottle. We caught him here posing for a quick picture......and here catching up on a little reading at the coffee table.
We enjoyed one another's company, and we're proud to announce that Dr. Nault even extended Owen his first college scholarship. Way to go O!
We're already looking forward to the '09 get together in Oxford. Cheers to one and all.
