4th of July

The summer seems to be passing us by very quickly this year. Traditionally, July 4th always felt like the midway point of summer, but at this point it feels more like the start of summer. Maybe that is what happens when you're back in school but classes do not start until late September.

Over the long holiday weekend, Brecken, Owen and I enjoyed our getaway to MI. In addition to climbing on everything that he could find, Owen had the chance to ride on the boat and play with cousin Bekah.
He also took time to enjoy the water. Although he was initially timid around the water, he later warmed up to the idea of kicking and splashing. Good times for everyone.

It was great to see Great Grandma S, Great Grandpa & Joan C, and all of the other friends and family on the 4th.
