Happy Thanksgiving!

Instead of traveling over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house, grandma and great grandma Glitzy made the trek our way for this Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. It has been a year full of different twists and turns, and it is a year in which we said goodbye to some important people in our lives, yet we continue to find ourselves blessed with family, friends, and so much to be thankful for this holiday season.

Owen helped me out on Wednesday evening by prepping the brine for our turkey.

We didn't realize it at first, but when we said that the turkey was going into the pot, Owen seemed to misinterpret our intentions.

Thankfully for both of them, we cleared things up and cooked the real thing. Our meal turned out really well again this year.

Our places were set, complete with little handprint turkeys of the two little characters.

Paxton missed the start of dinner (nap) but did join us for most of the meal.
