A holiday of projects...

In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, Owen and Paxton worked on several fun projects. Owen had the opportunity to dress up for a feast at school:

He also had a chance to make a "thankerchief" at school. The thankerchief gets passed around the table before dinner for everyone to say what they are thankful for. We did this exercise on Thanksgiving, and we did it the weekend before Thanksgiving while having dinner at the neighbors. Owen was thankful for his friends and family, while Paxton said she was thankful for the "yum yums."Aside from these two activities, Owen and Paxton also made cookies. Given the opportunity to create his own cookie, Owen took advantage of the resources around him and opted for one super-cookie rather than a collection of cookies.Upon closer look...

I'm sure those at the first Thanksgiving dinner envisioned a future full of organic, processed fruit chewy snacks with frosting from a can on top of a nut-free frosted cookie. Yum yum.
