Pumpkin Carving

In the days leading up to Halloween, there is a tradition that takes place all over the neighborhood and in our home as well...pumpkin carving. The pumpkins the kids picked out in Oxford, OH a few weeks ago were about to meet their alter-egos.
Paxton helped out a little bit, and for the first time, Owen was willing to get in and get dirty with the seeds and guts of the pumpkin.

Both kids drew up what they wanted the pumpkins to look like, and with a little help from mom and dad, the pumpkins came to life and were ready to guard our front door.
Here is a closer look at the final creations. Nice use of the "P" nose on Brecken's part.
