Happy Halloween 2010!

One of the busiest and most fun days of the year is Halloween. In reality, Halloween is much more than a day...it's a week full of activities, including office parties, school shows, town costume walks, and then the traditional evening of trick-or-treating. Brecken and I were joined this year on our door-to-door stroll by Darth Vader and a Cookie.

The weather was great this year, and the kids enjoyed marching up and down front steps and across porches to ring doorbells and holler trick-or-treat. The kids were joined this year by our neighbor Avery (Minnie Mouse) and her parents. While the kids looked civilized at the front door......once the candy was in the bag, it was on to the next place. As the bags filled up with more and more candy, and as the walk started to drag on, the kids stuck together.Miss P opted to enjoy a few of her treats along the way.
Owen enjoyed filtering through his treats when we got home.
Owen is a candy sorter and organizer. In addition to sorting the candy, he has also constructed buildings and roads and a twix lined pond of swedish fish.If anyone needs any candy...just let us know. Happy Halloween everyone!
