3..2..1...Blast Off!

A collection of 4 year olds blasted off into outer space on Friday morning. Owen and his classmates gathered for their winter program. Our little astronaut did a great job singing, stretching, jumping, and enjoying weightlessness for at least a few minutes...
It's not completely clear, but that may be a disguised concept vehicle that is intended to replace the shuttle. The program was also an opportunity to weave in a little pride in your country.

While there are a few more pictures to share, I thought the return of video highlights to the blog would help bring the story to life. This footage starts off with an exclusive pre-launch interview with everyones favorite astronaut.
