C'est Magnifique!
Since moving to the new house, Owen has picked up a new appreciation for art. In addition to completing various projects at the library every Tues and Thur, he has spent a lot of time in his basement studio working with paint and chalk. He is tutored by an art aficianado, Miss Julie.
In a rare moment for an artist of his stature, Owen allowed us into his hideaway to see the mind and hands at work.
A dab of paint here, a stroke of the brush there, and before you knew it, he had put together a family portrait. While a little creepy in a pigmentation sort of way, you have to admire his early efforts.
Meanwhile, working with a completely different media at the lunch table, Owen elected to challenge structural norms.
Maybe I'm a little conservative, but I think there is a place for eyes, ears, and arms, and I tend to think Owen's confusion is simply the result of a poorly prescribed set of glasses.
Au revoir.
