Geneva Festival of the Vine
Following the first soccer game on September 11th, the skies actually opened for a wonderful fall afternoon, and we took the opportunity to head to the Geneva festival of the vine.
The festival was a celebration of local food, arts, crafts, and harvest. Owen and Paxton were especially intrigued by the music in the food tent. Somehow our kids are willing to dance anytime, anyplace. Strike a pose!
We enjoyed the festival with Owen & Paxton's friends Jack & Maddie.
The kids had a chance to "drive" mini John Deere tractors through the parking lot.
It did not take long for Owen and Jack to realize that racing and crashing into one another were more fun that simply trying to pedal around an empty parking lot.No fall festival is complete without a little acorn squash bowling...
After tiring themselves out on the tractors and in a couple of jumpy-jumps, the kids settled into a few little art projects.
The face masks seemed to be the most popular.
