No Share. MINE!

No matter how often we try to introduce the idea of Owen having a sibling or our family having a new member, Brecken and I are sure that there is no way to really predict what will happen when she arrives. However, there are moments when we think that Owen is a little more aware than we give him credit for. For instance, one of his common responses when we ask whether he is looking forward to sharing his toys with baby sister, he is quick to point out, "No Share, Mine!"

The other evening, we even asked him about his sister during bath time, at which point he proceeded to pick up and hold his bath dinosaurs pretty tightly, exclaiming, "No Share. Mine!"

At least he smiles when he says it, and no, we don't have the camera with us everywhere, thank you very much.
