Pro Workout Day

For the vast majority of college football players that dream of a future in the NFL, the player scouting combine in Indianapolis is the place to prove their worth. Each spring, athletes spend a week running, jumping, lifting, throwing, and kicking with hopes of catching the eye of a scout or coach. However, in recent years it has become common for the potentially "elite" athletes or programs to host private, pre-draft workout sessions in a more comfortable environment.

Under the guidance of his caring parents, Owen opted for the private workout. As is policy with many of these events, Owen closed the door on media coverage.
However, he is releasing a few pictures of the action. Here is a quick shot of him showing off his QB skills. Notice how effectively he is looking off the would-be defenders while efficiently moving his feet in a quick 3 step drop. Here is a shot of him eluding the grasp of a defender while diving into the endzone (please overlook the fact that he obviously fumbled the ball on this play).

Finally, here is a shot of Owen showing off his ab skills with a little sit-up drill.

At the conclusion of the workout, Owen appeared briefly for a photo shoot with his likely agent. He is yet to sign on with his agent, but it seems like an inevitable personal/professional relationship. The only drawback with this agent is that she seems to be steering him away from football and more in the direction of country club sports like golf and tennis.
