The Justice League

Be it Batman, Robin, Superman, Aquaman, Lex Luther, or even the Wonder Twins and Gleek (throwback), Owen's cousin Mack is an expert in the power of superheroes. In fact, this weekend he clarified that his mom's superpower involves making breakfast, while my ("uncle Sean") expertise is in talking to fish. While maybe stretching reality in my case, Mack was a ball of entertainment for Owen, Brecken, and I this past weekend when we all got together at the cottage.

Joined by his younger brother Pierson, Mack had a lot of fun playing with Owen. Here are a couple of quick shot of the three trouble makers, O - M - & P.
Saturday was a fun filled day of family and entertainment. We started out the day with a fun visit to Great Grandpa C (a.k.a. Grandpa Farmer).

The little guys enjoyed the opportunity to see grandpa and to visit with the cows in the field before heading back for an afternoon at the lake. Between fishing, swimming, jet skiing, and simply playing around with one another, these guys were busy enjoying the afternoon.

One of the fun highlights of the weekend was the emergence of an expert angler. Mack, his dad Peter, and I had a great time using the Scooby Doo fishing pole at the end of the dock.

Even with a one year old gallery more interested in the bobber than in his brother...

...Mack managed to master the intricacies of bobber fishing enough to catch a lively 10 inch bass.

Owen is already looking forward to his next visit with cousins Mack and Pierson. Of course, the weekend at the lake would not be complete without some time with cousin Bekah and Grandma C. Good luck to Bekah as she starts the 6th grade today.

What a fun group and a lucky guy to have a loving extended family to grow up with. Cheers!
