A Mother's Day Getaway

To celebrate Mother's Day this year, we made the trek to Michigan for a little time with the grandmas and extended family. Brecken and I took advantage of the babysitting services to enjoy a nice evening on the town, and the grandparents enjoyed some quality time with the kids.

...and lounging around with great grandma Shirley.
Owen certainly loved having time with his grandmas and wishing his mom a Happy Mother's Day, but he was equally distracted by the opportunity to "drive" the big John Deere tractor at great grandpa C's house.

It's not every day that the family gets together for a hayride family picture, but Paxton, Owen, Brecken and I did just that with Kristin, Peter, Mack, and Pierson.
