Three Weeks of Halloween

Many of you may think that Halloween is October 31st, a single day at the end of October. However, we have discovered that Halloween is actually three weeks of fun and costumes. It is crazy amounts of candy, 2 scarecrows, a carved pumpkin, a hay maze, a haunted house competition, a costume parade through town, Boo-at-the-zoo, school party, a costume dance-off with the neighbors, a visit from Grandma and Papa, and of course....trick or treating. Let me introduce you to Bat and Lion. Despite every suggestion, Owen didn't believe that bats prefer a diet of fruit and insects.

You haven't lived until you witness a bat competing in an impromptu dance competition with a young jedi.

You're never too old to trick-or-treat, particularly when you have your cousins to guide you.

It took a team to trick-or-treat in 2008.

We may never have another night quite as nice for trick-or-treating...70+ in late October. Nice.

Thankfully, Owen hasn't been fixated on devouring all of his candy. Instead, he has constructed countless towers and candy castles with his bowl of sugary blocks.
