Happy Thanksgiving / Birthday

Happy Thanksgiving! After spending turkey day as a family in our new home, Owen, Brecken, and I welcomed our families into town for a belated birthday celebration. Happy Birthday to Owen, the lil' buckaroo!

Here is a quick shot of the birthday boy and his parents. Owen was really starting to wonder when he could stop looking and start eating the cake.

Luckily, he didn't have to wait very long.

Having already received a few early birthday gifts, including the kitchen, the barn, and a few accessories, it was hard to imagine that Owen could really get excited for anything else, but Saturday was an afternoon of endless entertainment, beginning with a little surprise in the garage. As the garage door opened, Owen got his first glimpse of the new John Deere tractor from Great Grandma June and Graydon.It's a little cold out these days, and the little guy needs to work on his pedaling skills, but the weather didn't matter, and there was no lack of concentration in his maiden voyage.Back inside there were remote control cars, puzzles, books, dinosaurs, play-doh, clothes, and many other fun new things that will undoubtedly keep Owen entertained for the winter months and beyond. Many thanks to both grandparents, all the great grandparents, Uncle Dan & Aunt Molly, Uncle Mark & Aunt Kathi, Uncle Erik & soon-to-be Aunt Sarah, Aunt Barb, Aunt Liz, Cousin Bekah, and Jed, Radhi, A & V for being part of the big day for Owen.
